Dock Diving Dogs
This newest gallery features dock diving dogs photographed on Saturday August 22nd at Upland California, where Nevada Dock Diving Dogs set up a large portable pool (25 x 15 feet?). The usual outstanding suspects were Border Collies, Aussies, Labs, Belgian Malinois, Goldens — but watch for the tiny dynamite Danish Farm Dog. The dogs leap from a diving ramp about four feet above water level to catch/retrieve a toy thrown by their owners. Some dogs leapt as far as nineteen and a half feet. Others, less keen on diving, slithered into the water, still keen to retrieve their toys.
